Just spent 4 days with Jim and Alison at the Belmore. Highly recommend this Guesthouse as it is well kept and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast good variety with as much as you can eat.
Family Room was just right for our short break.

Very friendly, very welcoming and absolutely 100% first class - I *defy* you to find a spot of dust! Excellent breakfast and even the cat came to say hello!

Thanks to the fabulous hospitality, clean, comfortable room & delicious & substantial breakfasts at The Belmore, my boyfriend & I have just come back from a very enjoyable short break on the Isle of Wight.
Jim & Alison make every effort to make your stay special and memorable. Worth every penny & more.

We have just returned home after a 7-night, (July 23-30), stay in The Belmore, and we would like to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the friendliness shown to us, (and to all the guests), by Alison and Jim, made it that much more enjoyable. Cleanliness, Food, and atmosphere was first class, and given we have had many
annual holidays on he I-O-W, we would have no hesitation in staying at The Belmore in the future.

I needed a few days restful break and a friend suggested the Belmore he having stayed there before. So I booked and I am so glad I did. This is an amzing place where the room facilities far exceed that of a large hotel where you would pay in excess of £200.00 per room. The room was just spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable.
Jim and Alison are amazing hosts who show great concern for your needs. They are just a lovely couple and you leave The Belmore rested but a little sad to go. So if you want to have a holiday where you will be well cared for, pampered and fed then this is the place to go to.

We stayed at the Belmore for a short break just after Easter and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms were lovely. choice of food brilliant and the welcome was fantastic. Our hosts were very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. It deserves every star it has and i would even add a couple to that.
